{"id":469,"date":"2026-02-06T23:29:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-07T04:29:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wabashwildlife.net\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=469"},"modified":"2026-02-06T23:29:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T04:29:23","slug":"defensive-pistol-5","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/wabashwildlife.net\/?tribe_events=defensive-pistol-5","title":{"rendered":"Defensive Pistol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This match is designed to offer scenarios where your defensive skills are tested.<\/p>\n<p>You will need a pistol or revolver and a holster mounted on a belt with up to 100 rounds of ammunition.<\/p>\n<p>If you shooting a semi auto pistol at least 2 to 4 magazines or if using a revolver speed loaders would be applicable.<\/p>\n<p>A mag pouch or speed loader pouch is required.<\/p>\n<p>Some matches will have a carbine or shotgun stage where shooters may use a pistol caliber carbine or shotgun.<\/p>\n<p>Shooters should always bring a pistol caliber carbine to the match in case the match director wants to involve a carbine stage to the course.\u00a0 lever action pistol caliber carbines are allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Most shooters use either a9 mm or 45 caliber.<\/p>\n<p>NO CROSS DRAW, SHOULDER HOLSTERS ARE ALLOWED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS<\/p>\n<p>SHOOTER SHOULD ARRIVE AT THE RANGE WITH GUNS UNLOADED AND NO MAGAZINES IN GUNS.<\/p>\n<p>GUNS SHOULD BE BROUGHT ON THE RANGE IN A PISTOL CASE OR BAG.<\/p>\n<p>ALL SHOOTERSMUST ATTENDA SAFETY BRIEFING THAT WILL BE HELD JUST PRIOR TO THE MATCH START.<\/p>\n<p>You will be shooting paper silhouette and various shaped steel targets at various distances.<\/p>\n<p>This a great match for enhancing of concealed carry persons.<\/p>\n<p>All shooters at this match will be helpful.<\/p>\n<p>This is a spectator sport. You are welcome to come and watch and decide if you want to shoot.<\/p>\n<p>AS ALWAYS EAR AND EYE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED.<\/p>\n<p>Active Military or Law Enforcement shoot for free.<\/p>\n<p>Under 18 years of age shoot for free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This match is designed to offer scenarios where your defensive skills are tested.
