Defensive Pistol

This match is designed to offer scenarios where your defensive skills are tested.

You will need a pistol or revolver and a holster mounted on a belt with up to 100 rounds of ammunition.

If you shooting a semi auto pistol at least 2 to 4 magazines or if using a revolver speed loaders would be applicable.

A mag pouch or speed loader pouch is required.

Some matches will have a carbine or shotgun stage where shooters may use a pistol caliber carbine or shotgun.

Shooters should always bring a pistol caliber carbine to the match in case the match director wants to involve a carbine stage to the course.  lever action pistol caliber carbines are allowed.

Most shooters use either a9 mm or 45 caliber.

NO CROSS DRAW, SHOULDER HOLSTERS ARE ALLOWED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS

SHOOTER SHOULD ARRIVE AT THE RANGE WITH GUNS UNLOADED AND NO MAGAZINES IN GUNS.

GUNS SHOULD BE BROUGHT ON THE RANGE IN A PISTOL CASE OR BAG.

ALL SHOOTERSMUST ATTENDA SAFETY BRIEFING THAT WILL BE HELD JUST PRIOR TO THE MATCH START.

You will be shooting paper silhouette and various shaped steel targets at various distances.

This a great match for enhancing of concealed carry persons.

All shooters at this match will be helpful.

This is a spectator sport. You are welcome to come and watch and decide if you want to shoot.

AS ALWAYS EAR AND EYE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED.

Active Military or Law Enforcement shoot for free.

Under 18 years of age shoot for free.
